2025 is loaded with exciting movies ranging from new installments of major franchises to potential Oscar contenders and star-studded indies, and all are among Screen Rant’s most anticipated movies of the year. The year is even more stacked than usual thanks to studios delaying a few of these upcoming titles to 2025. Now that this is all behind us, 2025 looks to be a very promising year in film.

Coming from WandaVision director Matt Shakman, The Fantastic Four: First Steps gives audiences Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing, Ralph Ineson as Galactus, and more.

It’s set in a futuristic 1960s-themed universe and will position the Fantastic Four as major MCU players ahead of their returns in Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars. It’s a can’t miss event superhero film as a result.
