The Takeп franchise will return in Takeп 4, starring Liam Neeson as the ruthless ex-CIA agent Bryan Mills. The EuropeCorp franchise confirms that the latest installment will deepen theMills’ past while also delivering the high-stakes action fans love. Directed by Pierre Morel, who helmed the original Take in 2008, the film will revive the series’ darker, more personal story.
Taken 4 begins with Bryan Mills retired from active operations and quietly working as a security inspector in Paris. However, his world is shattered when his estranged brother, David (played by Clive Owen), is kidnapped by a shadowy criminal organization linked to Mills’s early days at the CIA. Unlike previous secrecy, this one strikes a deeply personal chord, forcing Mills to confront secrets from his past.
This time around, there’s more to the plot, as Mills fights not only to save his brother but also to grapple with his own guilt over their fractured relationship.
