The first trailer for Justice League 2: The Darkseid War plunges us directly into a universe in peril, where Earth is under the yoke of Darkseid. Chilling images show cities in ruins, covered with Apokoliptian ships and Parademons invading every corner of the globe. In a dark tone, the voice of Darkseid, played by Ray Porter, resonates: “I have come to claim what is mine. This universe will be enslaved to me.” From his first words, the power and threat of Darkseid are palpable, marking the gravity of the confrontation to come.
Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) is seen standing in the ruins of his mansion, looking out over a world in chaos. “We knew this day would come, but we weren’t ready,” he says, clad in heavy-duty battle armor, determined to defend Earth to the bitter end. As the Justice League is scattered, each fighting to protect what they hold dear. Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) leads the Amazons in battle against Darkseid’s generals on Themyscira, wielding her God Killer sword with fervor.
